| ![]() This statement takes us back to an uncomplicated time when family and friends gathered around dinner table for great food, and a loving smile from Mom. Those days made for great memories! The founders of Our Best Restaurant, Kenneth and Kay Way, demonstrated this love for family and friends in the Fall of 1990 when that first guest entered their restaurant. Their ultimate goal was to provide good, satisfying food in a comfortable atmosphere. And that they did! The original restaurant had an old parlor stove by which one could warm their hands on a cold Winter evening. But more important, Kenneth's smile was genuine; his handshake firm; and you could tell by the gleam in his eye that he was truly glad to see you. Meanwhile, Kay was in the kitchen preparing each meal with fresh ingredients as if it was from your Mom's or Grandmother's table. No prepared, pre-packaged food here. Each customer is greeted at the door with a smile and usually engaged in conversation about their family. Truly, each customer is treated as a guest. We make sure the server keeps the glass full and the cornbread coming. When a member of the Team says,
"Thanks for stopping by today." you can be sure that they mean it! |
